Legacy Wealth Partners Joins HighTower's Premier Platform

Legacy Wealth Partners, a Fort Lauderdale, FL-based firm that oversees nearly $600 million in assets, has joined HighTower's “premier platform.” This is HighTower’s 12th transition year-to-date. Legacy Wealth Partners is led by three managing partners who established the firm in early 2015 as Legacy Wealth Group: William VanDresser, previously executive vice president and managing director of wealth management at Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust in Coral Gables; Elden LeGaux, formerly executive vice president and wealth management managing director, also at Gibraltar; and Eugene Frankel, previously an investment manager at Digital Sky Technologies. “Legacy Wealth Partners demanded support and services that uniquely cater to top independent advisory firms and their clients,” said Michael Parker, chief development officer at HighTower. “They identified our Platinum Platform offering, which combines our award-winning Blueprint for Growth tools with sophisticated investment solutions, compliance, transitions, IT and back-office services, as the optimal combination to accelerate their growth and mitigate the risks of running an independent business.” At the end of last month, two advisors joined Gryphon Financial Partners at HighTower, bringing $350 million in client assets to the Columbus, OH-based team.
